Ans. The selfish Giant felt disliking to see the children playing in his garden. He said that it was the garden of his own. He built a high wall around the garden.
अपने बगीचे में बच्चों को खेलते हुए देखकर दानव को घृणा हुई। उसने कहा कि वह बगीचा उसका था। उसने बगीचे के चारों और ऊंची दीवार बनावा बी।

बच्चों ने कहाँ खेलने का प्रयास किया? उन्हें कैसा महसूस हुआ?
Ans. The children tried to play on the road as there was no place to play their game. They did not like to play on the road.
क्योंकि बच्चों के खेलने के लिए कोई स्थान नहीं था अतः बच्चों ने सड़क पर खेलने का प्रयास किया । वे सड़क पर खेलमा पसन्द नहीं करते थे।

एक सुबह दानव ने क्या आश्चर्यजनक दृश्य देखा?
Ans. One morning the Giant saw that the children had crept in the garden through a hole in the garden wall. In every branch of the tree, one child was sitting.
The trees had blossomed and the birds were singing a sweet music.
एक दिन दानव ने देखा कि बच्चे बगीचे की दीवार में छोटे छिद्र से होकर घुस गए थे। पेड़ की प्रत्येक शाखा पर एक बालक बैठा था। पेड़ पर फूल खिले थे और चिड़ियाँ मधुर संगीत सुमा रही थीं।

छोटे बच्चे की सहायता करने के लिए जब दानव बगीचे में गया तो क्या हुआ?
Ans. When the Giant went into the garden to help the little boy, all the children ran away from the garden. There was the winter again in the garden.
जब दानव बगीचे में छोटे बच्चे की सहायता के लिए गया तो सभी बच्चे बगीचे से भाग गए। बगीचे में पुनः शीतऋतु आ गई।

छोटे बच्चे को देखकर दानव क्यों क्रोधित हो गया?
Ans. The Gaint grew angry when he saw the wounds on the palms and the feet of the little boy. The little boy was an angel in real.
जब दानव ने छोटे बालक की हथेलियों और पैरों पर घाव देखे तो वह नाराज हुआ छोटा बालक वास्तव में देवदूत था।

Ans. These words are stated by the selfish Giant because these children attract everyone towards themselves when they play.
ये शब्द स्वार्थी दानव द्वारा कहे गए हैं क्योंकि बच्चे जब खेलते हैं तो सभी को अपनी ओर आकर्षित करते हैं।
Q. 7. Give a brief description of the Giant’s garden.
दानव के बगीचे का संक्षिप्त वर्णन कीजिए।
Ans. Giant’s garden was very beautiful. It was a large and lovely garden. It had soft green grass. Beautiful flowers like stars were stood here and there on the grass.
The birds sat on the trees and sang sweet songs.
दानव का बगीचा बहुत सुन्दर था। यह एक विस्तृत और मोहक बगीचा था। इसमें कोमल हरी घास थी। घास पर यहाँ-वहाँ तारों की भांति सुन्दर फूल खिले थे। पेड़ों पर चिड़ियाँ बैठी थीं और गाना गा रही दी।

दानव ने अपने बगीचे के चारों ओर ऊंची दीवार क्यों बनवाई और सूचना-पट क्यों लगवाया?
Ans. To stop the entry of children into his garden the Giant built a high wall allround the garden.
बच्चों के प्रवेश को बगीचे में रोकने के लिए वानव ने उसके चारों ओर ऊंची दीवार बनवा दी थी।

. The Selfish Giant’ कहानी से हमें क्या शिक्षा मिलती है?
Ans. The story ‘The Selfish Giant’ teaches that we should not become selfish. We should love children.
‘The Selfish Giant’ से हमें यह शिक्षा मिलती है कि हमें स्वार्थी नहीं होना चाहिए। हमें बच्चों से प्यार करना चाहिए।

Ans. The Giant was taken to the paradise by the little child who was the angel himself because he left the selfishness and he began to love children.
दानव को छोटा बच्चा स्वर्ग ले गया जो स्वयं देवदूत था। क्योंकि उसने स्वार्थपरता को छोड़ दिया था। और बच्चों से प्रेम करने लगा।
